Paul Bourgaize
Service Manager
I first started my career in April 1978 at Duques Garage as a tractor and machinery mechanic, not to mention cars and light commercial vehicles. It was in January 1987 when I started working for Rabeys as a commercial vehicle mechanic. I carried out DAF & LDV training in the UK. As I progressed through my career I had been appointed to Workshop Foreman in 1993 where I looked after 18-20 staff. Furthering my career in 1997 I progressed into the service manager role where various training courses on warranty, management and health and safety have been completed.
My interests outside of work include football, riding motorbikes watching GP Racing where I have visited 3 different tracks in Europe and Formula 1.
Tony Jessett
Commercial Sales Manager HGV & MHU
I was introduced to the motor industry at an early age helping family; it was almost second nature to be smothered in engine oil and smelling of fuel. After completing secondary education I studied Motor Mechanical Engineering at college. It was then I joined the Vehicle Maintenance Unit and was responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of a fleet of heavy and light commercial vehicles.
On my first visit to Guernsey in 2003, I met my future wife and relocated to the islands a couple of years later. I joined Rabey’s as a forklift technician in 2005 and changed my career plan to become a Service Advisor in 2012. Having broadened my knowledge within the industry, my role developed over a period of time and became Parts Manager in 2015.
I enjoy socialising with friends and spending time away on warm sunny holidays. I am a keen classic mini enthusiast following my passion for motorsport.
