Please note: a clean driving licence is an essential requirement for this position. Applicants must also have 5 years residency and entitlement to work.

Due to our continued success as one of the Island’s leading suppliers of Light and Heavy Commercial Vehicles, we have an exciting opportunity for a full time Parts Advisor.

The Parts Department plays an important role in supplying both internal and external customers with parts to meet their needs.

In this role you will need to ensure that the right parts are in the right places, at the right time. To assist you there are systems and processes in place including a stocking and ordering dealer management system, so you will ideally need to be IT literate.

As well as dealing with customers (both trade and retail) you will also be receiving, sorting and storing parts as they arrive to ensure we have the correct stock and it can be easily found, thus, ensuring the best possible service to our customers.

In this role, you will be responsible for checking delivered goods against paperwork to ensure correct items have been delivered, in the correct quantity without damage. If any orders are outstanding or incomplete, you will be expected to bring to a satisfactory conclusion. It will also be your responsibility to accurately book these items into stock, ensuring the best possible service to our customers & our own internal workshops. Communicating with internal, external customers & colleagues will be a daily requirement. You will be expected to undertake stocktaking activities as well as maintaining a clean & tidy workplace.

To assist you in your daily duties we have well established systems & processes in place.

Requirements to include;
• Basic Knowledge of stock control principles would be an advantage.
• Clean Driving is essential.
• Keen eye for detail.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Good general IT skills.
