Rabeys have seen an increase across both islands over the last 12 months in enquires for Heavy Goods Vehicles i.e. 7.5t upwards.
Glenn Renouf and his sales team have been busy quoting and in particular with Isuzu’s and their latest version of chassis cab and engine, with enquiries soon leading to orders. Glenn commented, “Since heading over to the launch in 2017 and from this organising our first deliveries in to stock, we have seen the growth in enquiries and ultimately sales, we are currently moving vehicles before they become stock which is very promising, the issue now is obtaining them as and when!”
In respect of vehicles above 10t, we have firm quotes in for 11 vehicles, again across both islands with two recently arriving and now delivered to their respective customers i.e. Ronez (Jersey) x2 29t with Schwing-Stetter mixer bodies and Jersey Dairy 16t with a refrigeration body and tail lift.
Jersey Dairy 16T refrigeration body with tail lift.
This particular delivery was a very pleasing one as prior to this, the Jersey Dairy typically ordered chassis due to the complexity around the refrigeration body requirements. On this occasion, Rabeys approached them to quote the complete solution, which they clearly were pleased with and ordered accordingly. The handover took place in early January which was only just outside the estimated delivery date of mid-December but the final product made up for this slight delay.
